Clean Cooling Collaborative

Report design, infographic design, data visualization, and digital collage

Like the Paris Agreement, the Kigali Amendment is an international pact for nations to reduce their emissions. It is estimated that its impact on climate change mitigation would result in the largest reduction in global emissions from a single deal.

The Clean Cooling Collaborative was borne from this global meeting with funding from organizations like the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, the IKEA Foundation, Gates Ventures, and many more. I had the honor of leading the initiative’s design of a new report examining U.S. cooling emissions scenarios. Read more about the report—and see it in its entirety—here.

I worked with our partners’ data and research teams to create data visualizations using Tableau, Excel, and Illustrator. Because of the technical subject matter of the report, it was imperative to have accessible and visually engaging figures and infographics.

To provide a more narrative complement to the report’s information-heavy figures, I created digital collages using Photoshop and Illustrator. Next to the team’s data, these images helped to illustrate the more visionary aspects of the report—its warnings and its call to action.
